The VCMilC Legal Clinic is free for all military and veterans, offering 30 minute consultations to provide education and resources. The attorneys and staff do not work for VCMilC, instead they graciously donate their time at the clinic as volunteers. Unfortunately, our attorneys are unable to represent you in court.
The Legal Clinic assists with:
DUI's, Family Law, Credit Issues, Bankruptcy, Wills and Trusts, Child Support, Discharge Upgrades, Landlord Tenant, Power of Attorney, Education/Special need, Divorce and Workers Compensation.
In addition we provide information and have representatives from:
County Veteran Services Office: VA enrollment, Rating appeals/upgrades, Discharge Upgrades, as well as state and federal benefits.
Child Support: To assist with all issues and questions in regards to this issue.
Homeless Outreach for Veterans: To provide information on immediate housing assistance.

LEGAL RESOURCES in Los Angeles:
Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles has a Veteran's Justice Center. Help low income vets and seniors w/ a wide range of issues (expungements, tickets/warrants, VA benefits, GI bill, child support modification). Their website is: www.lafla.org and their intake line is: (800) 399-4529.
Family law questions: Levitt & Quinn Family Law Center. They have an attorney on staff who works just with veterans, so the person should mention they are a veteran when they call.
